I am now and always have been. You will benefit slightly since I have been sleeping on this topper for almost nine months and I, naturally, procrastinated in writing this review.
So it should come as no surprise that I waited much too long to change my old-as-dirt, lumpy, taco-shaped torture chamber masquerading as a mattress. I knew that I did not want to purchase a mattress that included springs in any form so my choices were rather limited. After many, many hours of research and reading any and every review I could find, I finally decided on a generic memory foam mattress from the big box store that was available on their website. In an effort to provide full disclosure I will say the memory foam was my second choice behind a 100% organic latex mattress but spending thousands on a mattress is something I wasn't willing to do at the time so I had to settle for second best. I was waking up with a back ache every morning, and from the first night with this new topper, woke up back-ache free and haven't had one again since (it's about a month now). it is retaining it's shape and provides the right amount of cushion for my wife and me. It is expensive - but not compared to a new mattress or a tempurpedic. Also, it is not hot; it doesn't trap body heat.
